MOU Signing between WTA and INSME |

On June 25th, WTA and INSME(;International Network for SMEs) signed MOU for promoting international cooperation network between two organizations, in the headquarters of INSME located in Rome, Italy. The main aim of INSME Association, as a non-profit organization, is to strengthen transnational cooperation between the public and private sector in the field of innovation and technology transfer to SMEs, involving all interested actors, and focusing on the role played by intermediary bodies in supporting SMEs and their competitiveness.
As examples of their various activities show such cooperation for SMEs development with huge organizations as 2008 APEC SME workshop for technology transfer (“Innovation and Technology Transfer Services for SMEs: the Role of Intermediary Organization”), 3rd WIPO-INSME Training Programme( on “IPR related issues for SMEs”) and so on.
In this respect, WTA expects the results like below from signing MOU with INSME.
○ To raise the organization’s status to a higher level
- Through the MOU-based cooperation with INSME, finding ways to access to adding creditability internationally, and to elevate the status of WTA in the world
○ Expansion of the WTA activity range in Europe
- Promotion of WTA and finding opportunities to attract new members in Europe
○ Strengthening business capability and improvement of service for members
- Mutual attendance at events related to two organizations’ main activities will bring abundant information and opportunities for the new business and innovation |
