□ 5th WTA Techno-Mart kicks off in Dubai for the first time

The 5th WTA Techno-Mart, a three-day technology conference and exhibition kicked off today under the auspices of TechnoPark, the science and technology facilitator of Economic Zones World, bringing together the region`s premium technological institutions and businesses and industry leaders, prominent personalities representing academia and R&D centres from across the world, at one platform.

The first research journal “Journal of Research and Development” of the Royal University of Bhutan was formally launched on December 28, 2007 by the University Council Chairman, Lyonpo Thinley Gyamtsho.

□ Nigeria: FG to Establish N30b Science Parks in 6 Geo-Political Zones

IN an effort to mainstream Nigeria as a technologically-driven country, the Federal Government has concluded plans to spend N30 billon in establishing science parks in the 6 geo-political zones of the country.
