Interim report on the number of UNESCO-WTA Workshop Participants
The International Training Workshop on "High-tech Cluster in Global Context" during November 6-10, 2006, Daejeon, Republic of Korea will be held as scheduled and is going on smoothly with the plan of attendances of many countries＇ famous scholars as well as those who are in mind of and relative with sustainable development of science city. This time the Workshop will be held in the 5th floor of Daejeon Metropolitan City hall. Presently registered participants are Africa 2, Arab 5, Asia 21, Europe 1, North America 1, South America 3, totaling 33
and registered lecturers are USA 1, UK 2, Japan 1, Germany 2, Norway 1, Taiwan 1, Australia 1, New zealand 1, totaling 10, that will be altogether 43 for participants as well as for lecturers.
These numbers are not included Korean side participants and lecturers, nor foreigners
who will be involved in workshop sessions and case presentations. The numbers will be more than
20 persons when calculated. All this information on number so far known are subject to change with later fixed schedule.
In this regard some participants who did not inform firmly WTA Secretariat of their arriving/departure time schedule are urged to let the WTA know now. WTA Secretariat wish to express all the participants＇ cooperation.
