Technical Assistance on the development of STP & TBI:

From 3rd to 9th February, there has been technical assistance mission (UNESCO-WTA Cooperative Project) in Bogota, Colombia on the development of Techno-Ecological Park of Usme (TEPU). Prof. Deog-Seong Oh, Secretary General of WTA, Dr. Yoslan Nur, Program Specialist of UNESCO and Dr. Malcolm Parry OBE, Director of Surrey Research Park (UK) were involved in the technical expert team.
The experts participated and gave lectures at the Third Colombian Meeting on Technology Parks and Innovation Spaces held in Bogota from 4th to 7th February, and had a time to provide professional technical consultant on the development and management of advanced STP and TBI, with reviewing the development plan of TEPU initiated by UAN(University of Antonia Narino, Colombia).
World Technopolis Association (WTA) in the cooperation of UNESCO has conducted 5 technical assistance projects including Bogota – Colombia mission: Mubarak Science and Technology Park, Egypt / Nairobi Science and Technology Park, Kenya / PUSPIPTEK, Indonesia / Costa Rica National Science Park, Costa Rica / Techno-Ecological Park of Usme(TEPU), Colombia.
