Main activities

WTA carries out diverse activities to realize above mentioned visions and objectives around the globe as follows:

  • 1. Global outreach and advocacy

    WTA engages in a variety of activities to disseminate, monitor and advance a culture of innovation worldwide. WTA advocates the importance and necessity of science, technology and innovation for sustainable development directly to the international community.

  • 2. Building a networking platform for a mutual development

    WTA holds a networking platform at a regional, national and international levels. Key stakeholders in the sector of innovation policy, S&T based regional development and business incubation gathered around the WTA to take the benefit of gaining knowledge, practice and new lessons.

  • 3. Policy research & recommendation and capacity building

    WTA undertakes diverse policy research and analysis as well as capacity building projects to build a bridge between science and policy-making and close a gap between developed and developing nations.
